Veena Siddharth

Veena Siddharth is an advocate, trainer and evaluator who has worked on human rights, justice, gender equality and sustainability. Her inspiration comes from the rural women she knew as a Peace Corps Volunteer in a remote part of Western Nepal. She has worked for Human Rights Watch, The World Bank, Oxfam International, Planned Parenthood and the United Nations. She has an MSc in Quantitative Research Methods and Evaluation from University College London (UCL) and a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University. She lives in Costa Rica with her family and is currently pursuing a doctorate, researching the experience of migrants during the COVID-19 pandemic. She enjoys hiking, playing in a community orchestra and escaping to the rainforest.
