Translating Research into Action
Translating Research into Action
The Action Research Center (ARC) is an academy reimagined.
In the scrappy spirit of a startup, ARC has designed a new collaborative model for researchers, activists, and policymakers from across the globe, combining academic inquiry with creative problem solving for measurable impact. The ARC is rigorously focused on translating research into action, bringing advocacy to life through partners in media, entertainment, politics, business, and nonprofits. This approach brings together the private, public, and social sectors to create meaningful change.
Fellowships are academically robust, with scholarly writing and peer review processes, and at the same time, are focused on translating research into action to move forward changes in policy and practice through sophisticated advocacy strategies and publicly accessible campaigns and communications, including media releases, digital content, and multimedia assets.
