Our Approach
Every great idea starts with a simple THOUGHT. Our goal at Planet Reimagined is to kick that process into overdrive.
Through Planet Reimagined Media, we create thought-provoking audio & video content that incites passionate thoughts about equality and human rights for people on a clean, healthy earth.
But, thoughts alone won’t build that world. ACTION will.
And that exact realization is how our Action Research Center was born. A place for researchers from around the world to collaborate with experts and policy makers to explore new ideas and solutions for people’s and the planet’s most pressing issues.
And, for us to truly achieve real CHANGE, our research has to reach the hands of the people who can do something about it. That’s why we work with plenty of media partners, artists, policy makers and influencers to spread our findings globally.
Whether we’re inventing solutions, creating content, removing plastic from the ocean or reaching millions of ears and eyeballs, our #1 pursuit is to reach hearts and minds, and leave the planet better than we found it.
Our Founding Story
Maybe it’s an unlikely partnership: Adam Met, rock star, and Mila Rosenthal, human rights activist. Adam’s resume includes playing arena gigs from Chicago to Seoul; Mila directed campaigns at the United Nations and Amnesty International.
We came together around one big idea: that the scale of the climate crisis demands that communities, technology, business, universities, politics – everything and everyone, as much as possible – join partnerships for fair solutions.
Combining the deep sustainable development expertise of the UN with the audience appeal of artists and creators led to our first partnership: the Eyes on the Goals film festival and the iHeart Media Public Service Announcements. This partnership brought together the power of research with creative advocacy – combining thought and action – to catalyze change.
We kept on down that same road: funding original research and advocacy by young people in fellowship programs that are growing into an entirely new Action Research Center; starting a podcast that is growing into a multi-media studio with a series of media partnerships to reach millions of people with information to take climate action. Our original partnership morphed into something bigger and more ambitious: our planet, reimagined. Planet Reimagined was born.
